Sami al-Haddad Championship 2011

The first model for Muscle Zone Productions has achieved even more recognition in the bodybuilding community.

Sami al-Haddad won the overall title at the 2011 Amateur Mr. Olympia contest held in London, England on March 19^th, 2011.  This was the first ever inaugural Mr. Olympia IFBB Amateur Championships which attracted dozens of top IFBB amateur bodybuilders from around the world.

Sami was the winner of his 90kg weight class which qualified him to compete for the overall title and faced fierce challenges from winners of other categories.  The final challenge presented Sami from Bahrain against top competitors from Spain, Poland, United Kingdom, Turkey and Czech Republic.

Sami is a very well-known bodybuilder and two-time IFBB world champion in 2009 and 2010, but did not win the top prize at the 2011 Arnold Amateur contest which was held only s few weeks before the London event.

It was a difficult decision for the judges but the final result clearly concluded that Sami presented the most complete physique, combining perfect body lines with top muscle density and details.

Immediately after the Amateur competition, Sami participated in the semifinals of the British Pro Grand Prix.  Though his term as Amateur champ was very brief, Sami continues to have a very bright future in the bodybuilding world.

Wanchai Thailand Fitness

Thailand’s Wanchai Kanchanapimai continues to amaze!  He has competed frequently over the years in Thailand in local and national bodybuilding and fitness categories.  In recent years, Wanchai has focused on fitness competitions and has achieved remarkable results.

Wanchai’s accomplishments are too extensive to present here, but the highlights are also an impressive list:

• 2007 Mr. Asia Fitness Champion (Shanghai)
• 2008 Mr. Asia Fitness Champion (Hong Kong)
• 2009 Mr. Asia Fitness Champion (Bangkok)
• 2010 Mr. Asia Fitness Champion (Singapore)
• 2010 Men’s Fitness Physique 1^st place (Singapore)

Wanchai is still the only holder of Mr. Asia Fitness as he won the competition when it was first introduced in 2007 and has continued to win the title every year since.  At the 2010 Singapore competitions, he additionally won the first ever WPBF (World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation) Men’s Fitness Physique competition.

Dynamic on stage and very personable to meet, Wanchai has a very promising future ahead in the fitness world.  Even when not competing, he maintains an outstanding physique and muscular definition.
